Mar Severios College of Teacher Education was established in the year 1995. The college is a Self Financing institution that is managed by Malankara Catholic Archdiocese of Thiruvalla. It is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University. This educational institution offers B. Ed program with intake capacity of 130 students & M. Ed program with the intake capacity for 20 students. It has excellent infrastructure providing essential facilities for both students and faculty members of the college. The faculty of the college is qualified and has vast experience in their field of expertise and aims to impart quality education to the students.

Scholarships & Endowments	The Rev. Fr. Abraham Kackanatt Annual Scholarship is provided to the top scorers in the university in B. Ed exams, Joby Chacko Endowment is given to the top scorer in Physical Science Optional etc.
