Meenakshi Ammal Arts & Science College was established in 2001 and is managed by Meenakshi Ammal Trust (MAT). The College aims to be an institution of excellence, dedicated to producing leaders of the future The trust institutes awards, scholarships, grants and aids to Indian citizens for study and research in the fields of education, Indian culture and fine arts, and makes contribution for the relief of the poor, aged and handicapped. It provides special attention at improving the economically backward sections of the society. MASC was established by an order of Govt. of Tamil Nadu as a Telugu Linguistic Minority college and is approved by AICTE. The college envisions to provide an educational environment wherein every student discovers and realizes his full potential.
