About MES Law College

MES Law College, Karnataka is the pioneer College in the field of law. The torch of legal education was lit up in a small town like Sirsi mainly by the sagacity, farsightedness and missionary zeal of the dedicated persons like Late Shri .G. S. Hegde, Ajjibal, a stalwart in Co-operative Society, Late S. R. Hegde, Kadve, the key man of the TSS, Late Shri. R. G. Bhat, an eminent Law practitioner and our innovative Ex-Presidents Dr. V.S.Sonde, Shri Shantaram Hegde and ever supportive nature of present President Sri. G. M. Hegde.

The College is organises Endowment lecture series in the name of Late Justice G. N. Vaidya, in a unique way since 1987. Modern Education Society was established in the year 1962, with a view to cater to the educational needs of the people of upperghat talukas of Uttara Kannada District.
