PGI Mehsana Campus Life, Events and Facilities 

The Patel Group of Institutions is situated in the heart of North Gujarat in a vast area of land and is surrounded by lush greenery. Also the college has ultra modern infrastructure to give the best teaching-learning experience to students and faculty members. Cited below are some of the other facilities the college has developed over years for the growth and development of young minds and to enhance their industrial exposure. 

Seminar Hall: The PGI has developed an amazing and air-conditioned seminar hall that is fully equipped with audio-video facilities and is primarily used to organize events and activities ranging from monthly students assemblies, academic tasks, extensions lectures, training programs and conferences etc. And the main objective of these events is to help students clear all their doubts with respect to working in various fields, by directly asking queries from experts and institute Director. 

Digital Library: For the purpose of enhancing students and teachers knowledge and helping them in their research and project work, the PGI has an Athenaeum which has a large set of books on Computer Application, Management, Environmental Study, Network Programming and Computer Programming Language followed by transactions, journals, magazines, newsletters and proceedings etc. Apart from this, this library has a seating capacity of 200 people at a time. 

Internet Labs: The college also has an internet lab which has 22 systems and are used by students for their project work, to prepare presentations for seminars and access online journals, e-books and other study related stuff. In addition to this, an intranet facility is also there through which students can access last year’s question papers, teaching schedules, internal marks, attendance and daily circulars etc.

Digital Classrooms: The Patel Group of Institutions has digitally enabled, wifi-less and fully air-conditioned rooms which are developed in accordance with international standards to make sure maximum possible interaction can happen between students and their teachers. These classrooms have LCD projectors along with writing pad and pen and teachers teach through text, drawings, graphs and presentation. 

Computer Labs: There are many dedicated computer labs in college including C Programming Lab, DBMS Lab, Operating System Lab, JAVA, Cloud Computing, Project Lab, Python, Wireshark Lab and Linux Programming Lab and all of these have been established to make students digitally proficient and competent. 

Canteen: The PGI has an aesthetically developed and ultra modern canteen to serve delicious snacks and food items at an affordable range. And this canteen remains open on all working days. 

Sports Facility: With the intention of ensuring good physical and mental health of students, help them participate in sports tournament and allied activities and give them a correct platform to showcase their skills, college has facilities for sports and games like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Chess and One minute Management Games etc. 

Transport Service: PGI has a separate transport department whose purpose is to provide pickup and drop facility to teachers and students so that they can reach college on time. And the college has a fleet of buses to ensure smooth functioning and accommodate all students and teachers.

In addition to above mentioned facilities, PGI regularly organizes events and co-curricular activities such as Dance shows, annual function, drama and singing events, sports competition, seminars, industrial visits and financial conclave etc.
