Sardar Gunj Mercantile Cooperative Bank Ltd English Medium College of Commerce and Management (SEMCOM), Vallabh Vidyanagar was established in 1997 and is running by the Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM), an educational trust. It is the first institute in the state of Gujarat to get certification of ISO 9001:2000 standards. The college is affiliated to Sardar Patel University (SPU), Vallabh Vidyanagar. It is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in arts, science, and commerce in major streams.
The college has a well-furnished infrastructure and separate accommodations for girls and boys with all modern facilities. The college has a placement cell that provides proper guidance to the students that helps them in their placements. The college aim is to generate well-rounded individuals with the capabilities of thinking independently, innovatively, creatively and objectively.

SEMCOM College Courses Offered
SEMCOM College offers various courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. There are 60 seats in each program. Candidates are advised to check eligibility criteria before applying for the program. There are seven different types of courses at SEMCOM College.
The list of UG courses consists of BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration), BBA (Hons), B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) and BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application). Similarly there is Master of Commerce (E-Business) program at PG level. In addition, the college offers Diploma and Internship programs.

- To be eligible for any undergraduate program, candidates should have passed class 12 with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board.
- The selection is done on the basis of merit of last qualifying exam.
- Candidates having bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks from a well-recognized university or institute are eligible to apply for Master of Commerce (E-Business). The selection for same is done on the basis of degree marks.
