School of Bioscience, Apeejay Stya University -[SBS]

Apeejay Satya University was established in 2010. It offers a wide range of graduate, post graduate and doctoral courses. It is located on the Sohna-Palwal Road in the Gurugram district of Haryana. ASU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It was established by the Apeejay Stya Education Foundation in the state of Haryana [under Act No. 10 of the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act 2010].

The School of Biosciences brings leading scientists of the country and eminent industrialists of bio-businesses on the same platform. It has eminent industry associates, Martin & Harris Pvt. Ltd., Walter Bushnell Healthcare Foundation and ASG Biochem Pvt. Ltd. To cater to different needs of the Biotech, Bio-Pharma and Healthcare sector, various multi-tiered programmes have been designed. The researches by faculty members on Healthcare, Eco Physiology and Ornithology have given the country an eminent position on the world map.

Undergraduate

• Integrated (B.Tech + M.Tech) Biotechnology

Eligibility: For the purpose of admission, a minimum of 50% in 10+2 in Science. Other criterias include admission through academic merit, entrance test and interview.

Postgraduate

• MSc Biotechnology
• MSc Clinical Research
• PG Diploma in Clinical Research & Data Management

Eligibility: For the purpose of admission, a graduate degree in B.Sc. Life Sciences or allied subjects of Bio stream/ B.Tech. Biotech/ B.Pharma. / MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS and Allied health sciences with minimum 55% marks.

Ph. D.

PhD Biotechnology/Biomedical Sciences/Bioinformatics/Applied Biology/Life Sciences
Eligibility: For the purpose of admission, 60% at M.Sc. level in relevant area with consistent good academic record. Other criterias include Entrance test, presentation & interview.

ASU Hostel

The campus has two hostels which can accommodate up to 155 boys and 105 girls. Single- or double­ occupancy rooms are offered depending on availability, student seniority, and merit.
