Shri Shivaji Jr College of Education

Shri Shivaji Jr College of Education, Sangli was established in 1953. College is affiliated to Maharashtra State Exam council, Pune and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (N.C.T.E). The campus area of the college is 7 acres housing a few other activities of the Parent Society along with its offices. The college has a beautiful infrastructure with very big playground, a Gymkhana with 12 multi gyms, Library with reading room facility, Canteen, Hostel, Vehicle Parking Shed, a Computer Lab, Ladies Common room and the Guidance and Counseling Cell. The sports wing has been very good in Hockey and Soft ball etc.

For every educational programmers educationist prescribe or suggests curriculum contains theory and practical’s also practical are useful to understand the theoretical parts become practical’s are always based on theory But what about society from which student comes into school or college These theories and practical’s never helps students to understand social and its mature &transaction For that co-corticated activities helps students to achieve all above.The main Goal of the college is to encourage students to participate in extra-curricular activities and to promote literary activities in the college and organize the lectures of eminent personalities in the various fields for students.
