Sovarani Memorial College Admission 2024

Admission to all the courses available is merit-based. Candidates who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria can take part in the admission process. Admission to all the courses is based on the marks scored by the applicant in the 10+2 level examination.

The application form can be submitted only through online mode.
The candidate should visit the Calcutta university admission portal and duly fill the online application form.
Now the candidates should upload all the required documents, photographs, signature, etc.
Candidates should pay the prescribed application fee to complete the process.
The college will publish a merit list based on the marks scored by the candidate in the 10+2 level examination.
However, any candidate’s name in the merit list does not guarantee the admission. Admissions will stand closed once the total number of seats available in the college/subject is filled up.
Candidates will have to be physically present at the time of admission.
The verification of all the documents and information declared in the form submitted will be done on the date of commencement of classes. If the candidates fail to furnish proper documents their admission will be canceled.

Library: The college has a Well-stocked Central Library and 12 Departmental Libraries, located at Vidyasagar Bhavan, adjacent to the main building. The library is funded by grants from UGC, Government as well as from the college fund.
Medical Facility: Provision for health service is available to the students and staff by the Students’ Health Home.
Laboratories: The college has six well-equipped laboratory rooms for mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, and IT with internet facilities to care for the needs of students.
Gym: The institute offers its in-house gymnasium to the students and staff.
