Admission to all the undergraduate, postgraduate and postgraduate diploma courses in this college is done on the basis of merit in the previous eligible qualifying examination.

Infrastructure: The college is spread over 10 acres of land area. It has 5 constructed floors with 146 classrooms, 46 labs, 3 research labs, 5 conference halls, staff rooms, Open-air theatre, two botanical gardens, five smart classrooms, an open playground and indoor stadium, two well-equipped gymnasiums, one girl’s hostel with occupancy of 225 girls.
Library: Library has a huge collection of books and journals. Books more than 1,30,000, 159 Journals, 1,25,000 e-books, and more than 6,000 e-journals are available.
Physics Laboratories: There are a total of 12 physics labs and contains all necessary types of equipment like GM Motor, He-Ne Laser, Hall Effect, Stephan constant, fresnel bi-prism.
Chemistry Laboratories: There are a total of 8 chemistry labs equipped with proper chemicals and glassware necessary to do practicals.
Other Laboratories include Botany Labs, Zoology labs, environmental science labs, computer science labs, geography labs, language labs, statistics and mathematical labs, psychological labs, research labs, etc.
Gymnasium: The campus provides 2 gymnasiums which consist of automatic treadmills, cross trainer, rubber weight, dumbbells, and all other necessary machines.
