- Hostel: The college offers separate hostel facilities for both girls and boys which are well-equipped. The hostel has a mess and other facilities such as a waiting hall, security services, continuous water and power supply etc.,

Ans. Lateral entry refers to a student entering college in 2ndyear. This applies to students who have done a 1-year diploma in a particular field. Any student who has passed a diploma exam from a recognized institute with 50% marks in the relevant branch of engineering or technology is allowed to apply to these lateral entry courses offered by Trichy Engineering College.
