VAMNICOM, established in 1947 is an AICTE accredited and offers four courses in the stream of management to its students. The college offers PG Diploma in Management in specializations of executive and agri business, and also offers a PG Diploma in Co-operative Business Management. The PG Diploma in agribusiness management is accredited upto June 2025. Apart from that, the college also offers a Diploma in Computer Operations Management. It is important that a PGDM granted by the college is equivalent to an MBA. The official reports of the college suggest a 100% record in its final placements.

VAMNICOM Scholarships
The following scholarships are offered by VAMNICOM:
- NCUI Scholarship: INR 1,00,000/- per annum is offered to six students per the norms of National Cooperative Union of India.
- IFFCO Scholarship: INR 15,000/- per annum is offered to Two SC and One ST students on merit basis.
- CICTAB Meritorious Award: This award is given to two students of India & two Foreign Nationals.
- Govt. of India, Ministry of Social Welfare/ Tibal Affairs, Post Matric Scholarships for SC/ST students.
- GOI Freeship / Scholarship is available for the students of SC/ST/OBC/VJNT. Students are required to apply to Social Welfare Department of their concerned state to which they belong.
- The Institute offers 25% concession on Tuition fee to the FIRST RANK HOLDERS of Agricultural Universities in Agriculture and allied subject area

Ans. Vaikunthbhai Mehta was born on October 26, 1891, in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, as a friend, philosopher, mentor, and doyen of the cooperative movement. Vaikunthbhai was the Chief Executive of the Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank for almost 35 years. He served as the then-Bombay State's Minister of Finance and Cooperation and as the first Chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission. Vaikunthbhai Mehta's contribution to the cause of cooperative education and training was pioneering and foundational.
