About Ananda Chandra College

Ananda Chandra College, Jalpaiguri was established in 1942 during the Quit India Movement and now is affiliated to the University of North Bengal, Darjeeling. The college is situated in College Para, Jalpaiguri. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, they offer BA and B.Sc, Physical Education, and Post Graduate courses in Bengali. Free/Half Free Studentship: This is a merit and means scholarship. This is given to students of economically weaker sections.
Government of India Post Metrics Scholarship: Available to the SC/ST/OBC students and “D.P.I Stipends’ to the meritorious students.
Students’ Aid Fund: This helps in obtaining financial aid to the students who have a low economic status but are meritorious students who do not fall in the other categories mentioned for the other scholarships.
Sports scholarship: Students who represent the college at the National and International level in games and sports would receive a 50% fee concession.
