Bihar College of Teacher Education was established in 2008 under Shahid Idris Educational & Welfare Trust and has the college campus at Raja Bazar, Patna. The college is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Bhubaneshwar, GOVT. OF India and is affiliated to Magadh University, Bodhgaya. The college has a sound management of teachers’ training comprising expertise of education fields and administration to cater to the B.Ed course training in exercise of the right under the constitution of India. The curriculum practised at the college is cognitive and emphasizes on language development, health and nutrition, socio-emotional development etc. Within these broad guidelines, the curriculum is flexible to accommodate different approaches and various Teacher Training Programmes for the betterment of the field.
