BPUT Placements

Biju Patnaik University of Technology has a dedicated training and placement cell that facilitates job opportunities for students. The number of recruiters of BPUT is not that high during placements. BPUT Result 

Biju Patnaik University of Technology follows a semester system for its UG and PG courses. For evaluating its students, the varsity conducts semester-end examinations twice in an academic year known as even semester examinations and odd semester examinations. Recently, it released BPUT Result 2022 on its official website. Students who have appeared for the exam can check their results on the online portal with the help of their registration number.

Steps to Check BPUT Result 

  • Visit the Biju Patnaik University official website at bput.ac.in.
  • Click on the “Examination” tab available on the homepage and select the “Results” button.
  • A new window of “BPUT Exam” will open on the screen.
  • Fill in the necessary details such as Exam Session, Registration No., and Date of Birth.
  • Now, click on “View Result”
  • A detailed summary of the result will be displayed on the screen in a PDF format.

Ques. How many teaching weeks are there in the BPUT B.Tech course?

Ans. The number of teaching weeks in each semester of the B.Tech course offered at Biju Patnaik University shall be fifteen to eighteen with a minimum of 90 teaching days excluding the period of examination.

Ques. What is the maximum duration of completing BPUT UG courses?

Ans. A student who is weak in studies can complete a 4-year UG program of BPUT in not more than 7 years, a 3 year UG program not exceeding 5 years, while the 5 year UG program, not more than 8 years.

Ques. Is there any seat reservation at BPUT for physically handicapped students?

Ans. Yes, some of the seats at BPUT are reserved for physically handicapped students, however, they are required to satisfy the prescribed medical fitness norms.

Ques. Can a B.Tech student at BPUT change his/her branch?

Ans. Yes, any student pursuing B.Tech at BPUT may be allowed a change in their branch after they have completed the course requirements for the first and second semesters. The change in a branch will be done subject to the availability of seats in a program. The selection shall be based on merit through candidates’ combined results in the first two semesters.
