CCET Punnapra, Alappuzha Placements

The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of the college facilitates the students in getting placed at top companies by equipping them with necessary tools to work with and enhancing their personalities in order to prepare them to face the rigorous corporate world.

The college organizes seminars and guest lectures by eminent personalities and experts to introduce students to the various dimensions and demands of the professional world.

The cell trains students in their communication skills, professional etiquette, demeanor, and overall personality. The cell also conducts mock tests and interviews as well as career counselling for the benefit of the students.

In 2020, the college saw a placement of all students of Electrical and Electronics engineering. Top recruiting companies were from sales and teaching. Additionally, students got paid internships in companies like BSNL and KSEB.

Carmel College of Engineering and Technology offers several facilities to the students. There is a hostel, library, canteen, cafeteria, and a hospital in case of a medical emergency. The campus has 2 basketball courts and a football court, along with a cricket ground.

Hostel- The hostels are well furnished and equipped with the students’ basic and immediate requirements. There are separate hostels for boys and girls which are taken care of by Catholic nuns and priests. Moreover, the hostel provides both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. The accommodation capacity of the hostel is 60 for boys and 50 for girls.
Library- The library contains resources like books and journals both online and in print. The collection of books varies science, career, personality development to fiction. The library is also a member of the National Library Network.
Canteen- The canteen of the college serves a variety of food items. From snacks and drinks to healthy hot meals, everything is available at the canteen. The canteen timings are from 7:30 pm to 6:30 am.
