About Centre for Design Excellence - [CODE VGU]

Established in the year 2016, Centre For Design Excellence (CODE), Jaipur is the constituent of Vivekananda Global University (VGU). The institute is established by Rajasthan State Assembly Act. It has become one of the premier and preferred institutes of Design & Architecture Education in the country. CODE Jaipur courses under B.Des, M.Des, B.Des+MBA and B.Arch degrees. Additionally, the institute also offers Diploma and PhD programs. Admission is done through an online application. The candidates are selected on the basis of valid marks obtained in NATA, UCEED, JEE Paper 2. CODE Jaipur also conducts an aptitude entrance examination by the De-CODE exam.

CODE Jaipur provides practical exposure through industrial tie-ups. Some of the industrial partners include Credai, National Infra Projects, Lavanya, Midas Touch Creations, Anukampa, Ashiana, Bosch, Frozen Music, Antshunt.in, f.Salon, Bunkstop, etc. The institute has over 6 academic collaborations, more than 30 industrial tie-ups and 15+ professionals. The institute has collaborated with international universities like Edinburgh Napier University, Tennessee State University, University of Wolverhampton, Leland Stanford Junior University, etc.

Centre For Design Excellence Admission

The admission can be done through online and offline mode. Follow the steps below to apply for the same:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the institute and select the Centre For Design Excellence and select the “Admission”.

Step 2: Pay Application Fees Rs.2,000/-

Step 3: Select the registration page and enter the name, email, mark detail, contact number in the given form.

Step 4: Appear for Online Entrance Exam DECODE (Applicable only for B.Des), If selected appear for Interview

Step 5: Submit the documents and pay the fees.

Note(s): Candidates applying for courses other than B.Des directly submit the documents without appearing for DECODE and interview

Centre For Design Excellence Facilities

The institution has the following state of the art facilities for its students and faculty members:

Library: VGU has a learning resource center which is on two floors and separately situated. It houses a rich collection of more than 3000 books and 1500 E-books. The library has given access to more than 200 e-journals and also to web based video courses, prepared by the professors of leading institutes of the country. Simultaneously gives access to 60 students to work on computers as well as to read the books.

Hostel: VGU provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with all facilities such as water purifying system, gymnasium, TV room and indoor games facility, magazine, newspaper reading,24 hrs wifi and Geysers. Mess facility with hygienic, nutritious meals and snacks are also provided.

Sports Complex: The institute has the facilities of Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Table Tennis, Hockey Ground, Volleyball Court.
