Government First Grade College Admission

The admissions to the college are strictly merit-based.

How to Apply?

There is an online admission portal on the official website of the college for students to apply.
The application form requires the candidate’s details, academic information, and bank details (optional). There is an additional table for the candidates where they can choose more than one college. At the same time, the same college with a different course can also be selected multiple times.
To complete the application process the candidate must make an online payment for the application form.
Seats are allotted on the grounds of candidate’s preference, merit and roster. If a seat with the 1st preference of the candidate is not available, a seat with the 2nd preference will be allotted and so on.
The candidates who are allotted with seats of their 1st preference will be admitted in the first list. Any of such candidates who are not admitted in the first list will not be considered for the second.
Candidates who are allotted with seats of your 2nd and 3rd preference and so on will be considered for the second round if they are not selected in the first. Allotment of seats for such candidates will be based on seat availability and his/her merit to the merit of other candidates in the second list.

Hostel: The College provides hostel facilities for its students – a separate area for boys and girls. Hostel rooms are spacious and well-ventilated, and washrooms are clean. There is a supply for 24 hours of drinking water in the hostel.
Library: The college has a spacious central library with reference, circulation, e-content access, reading room and has a good collection of 27000 textbooks, 5000 reference books, back volumes, competitive magazines, 12 different newspapers and 250 DVD & CD are facilitated. Also, computers with internet connection facility and to use NLIST-INFLIBNET consortia, ICT facility is available for open access to e-books, e-journals, e-thesis and other e-resources.
Extracurricular: The college also has various students’ activities and clubs that aim at providing training to students in various skills such as personality skills, communication skills, job skills and preparing students for various competitive exams.

Women Support: The college also has a Women’s Cell that comprises the women faculty and students of the college. It organizes awareness programs on Women’s Empowerment, Health, Legal Issues, etc.
