About Islamiah College (Autonomous)

Islamiah College located in Vaniyambadi, Tamil Nadu started functioning in 1919. It got affiliation to Thiruvalluvar University in 2002. Islamiah College Admission

The application form can be obtained at the college office, whose address is mentioned below. The duly filled out application form, along with the necessary documents attached, should reach the Principal no later than the 10th working day from the date of publication of the 10 + 2 and university examination results for UG and PG courses respectively. Applicants for admission to the Degree courses should submit separate application for each one of the major subjects for which they desire to apply.

The college provides various facilities one of them being a mammoth monolith of collection of books exceeding 80,000 books.
There is a computer centre in the library with Internet facility. The college has been subscribed more than 30,00,000 e-books and 6000 e-journals through INFLIBNET & DELNET.
Funding Agencies and Scholarship facilities are also additional bonanza for the Research Scholars.
Hostel facilities are available for students who wish to reside in the campus. The college canteen provides hygienic and nutritious food with a spacious dining hall and separate kitchen.

Ans. The Islamiah College is a renowned college with a Principal like Dr. T Mohamed Ilyas (M.B.A., M.Phil., Ph.D.) and highly qualified teachers who hold Doctoral degrees in Research programmes and are either MBA's or Masters in their respective fields.

Ans. Islamiah College is a private Autonomous institute which offers government aided programmes as well as self financed programmes. Along with these there are a number of scholarships available for students to avail, wherein the tuition fees of students is provided by the college.

Ans. - The college has a Career Guidance and Placement Cell and companies like TVS, HCL, Sutherland, Eureka Forbes, and Poly-hose Pvt. Ltd. etc. have recruited candidates from campus interviews.

Also there is a library with a collection of more than 80,000 books. E-library is available with video cassettes and CDs relevant to the syllabus.
Other facilities like Canteen, Hostel, even a Bank (Canara Bank) is located inside college campus to cater to the needs of students. The bank also provides education loan to students of the college.
