Mohamed Sathak Engineering College Courses Eligibility

The eligibility for various courses is given below:

Eligibility for B.E/B.Tech 

• The candidate is required to pass in 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or a pass in its equivalent subjects are considered eligible for admission.
• The admission to the Lateral Entry will be made considering Diploma in Engineering from State Board of Technical Education or B.Sc Graduates with Mathematics are also eligible for admission. Read more about B.Tech course and its eligibility.

Eligibility for B.E (Marine Engineering) 

• The applicants must have scored minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics together and must have scored minimum 50% marks in English in class 10^th or 12^th.

Additional Requirements for admission to Marine Engineering:

• The admission seekers must submit the fitness certificate at the time of the admission.
• The admission will be considered provisional till the approval by Directorate of Technical Education, Anna University and Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Mumbai.
• The age of the candidate should not be more than 25 years.

Eligibility for B.Arch

• The program is offered to the candidates on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and must qualify English.
• To secure a seat in the program,  a valid score in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is mandatory.

Eligibility for ME/M.Tech

The applicants are required to possess Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the relevant branch to apply for the admission. The final selection will be based on the basis of Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University. The M.E/M.Tech program is offered on the basis of given eligibility:

Eligibility for MBA

• To apply to the MBA program, the admission seeking applicant should hold Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any stream.
• The final selection will be made on the basis of score of Management Aptitude Test (MAT) or TANCET.

Eligibility for MCA

• The eligibility to apply to the program is Graduation with Mathematics or BCA student must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level.
• The TANCET score is mandatory to get into the MCA program.
