Aikyashree Scholarship

Three types of scholarships are provided under this scheme. These are: Pre-matric, post matric, and merit-cum-mean scholarship. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance and encouragement to the students belonging to Minority communities. 

Eligibility for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship

• Applicant should be a resident of West Bengal.
• Applicant must be studying in a School/University/Institute which recognised by an educational board/ Council/ University of State/Central goverment.
• Must have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the final examination.
• Applicant’s family income must not be more than INR 2 LPA.

Eligibility for Merit-cum-mean Scholarship

• Applicant must have been admitted to a Technical/ Professional Course.
• Must have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary/ graduation examination.
• Applicant should be a resident of West Bengal.
• Applicant’s family income must not be more than INR 2.5 LPA.

SVMCM (Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means) scholarship for meritorious student

This scholarship is provided by Government of West Bengal at educational institutions based in West Bengal, with the goal of assisting deserving students from economically disadvantaged families in the State of West Bengal to pursue higher education. The programme is advantageous to Undergraduate students in science, arts, commerce, engineering, medicine, and technical or professional degrees and Post-graduate students studying science, the arts, commerce, technology, and management. This scholarship will be awarded to deserving students based on merit-cum-mean criteria.

Eligibility

• 60% marks in aggregate in the last qualifying examination from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education/West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education/Madrasa Education for Higher Secondary level or Under Graduate level Scholarship.
• 53% marks in aggregate in Graduation (Honours Subject) from any State University for Post Graduate Level Scholarship (General Education) /55% marks in Graduate Courses from any State University or AICTE approved Institute of West Bengal for Post Graduate Level Scholarship (Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy).
• Girls Students pursuing Post Graduate courses in Science, Arts and Commerce stream from Universities of this State after obtaining Under Graduate Degree with 45% marks in aggregate from Institutions of this State will come under the aegis of this Scholarship Scheme as Kanyashree(K3) applicants.
• Applicant’s family income must not be more than INR 2.5 LPA.

OASIS (Online Scholarship in Studies) for SC/ST/OBC students . 

This Murshidabad University Scholarship is funded by the Government of West Bengal to provide financial assistance to students belonging to economically weaker sections of society who are pursuing higher education. The scholarship was established to help students who are struggling financially and may not be able to afford the expense of studying. 

Eligibility

Students enrolled in higher secondary, diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and other professional programmes are eligible for the scholarship. Students who qualify for the award will get financial aid based on their academic achievement and financial need. The grant pays for tuition, a monthly stipend, and other supplemental costs like books, stationery, and other study aids.
