Nalanda Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), Guntur was established in 2001 under Nalanda Educational Society. Society was established in the year 1986 to promote education from the primary school level up to post Graduation across the entire education spectrum.

Vision of the college is “To become a leading educator espousing and inculcating value system to develop educated, responsible and model citizens who will actively participate in nation building”
NIET is located 26 km from Guntur city on Guntur- Hyderabad national high way, with all convenient facilities to travel from different locations within the district.
College is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, (JNTU), Hyderabad
