SCT Namakkal Admission

Admission to UG Courses is based on merit in the qualifying exam and TNEA and for PG courses it is required to have at least 50% marks in merit and TANCET cutoff score.

All necessary document verification is also mandatory. The college application form is filled online.

Candidates whose 12th boards are not yet declared can update their marks later on. It is requested that at the time of admission all documents must be available.

IIT Remote center: The College has collaborated with IIT Bombay and Kharagpur for a better education.

ATM Facility: The institution has a 24 hour State bank ATM facility for the students and the staff. Hostel students can use that ATM at any time within the campus.
Internet Café: The College has a dedicated internet with a leased line of 60MBPS high speed which is connected to hundred terminals in the internet lab of the campus. Both students and faculty are allowed to have access to the internet only after regular working hours.
Transport facility: The College has a total of 58 buses which operates round 50 routes. The included routes are from Namakkal, Salem and Erode Districts. The Transport facility of the college ensures that the students and staff of the college are able to reach in time.
Hostel facility: There is a separate hostel accommodation provided for boys and girls on the western side of the campus. The college has a special menu and servicing according to the festivals. The college hostel has actively participated in the festivals. The mess has a central modern kitchen and a separate dining hall for boys and girls.
Library facility: The College has established a library in the year 2006 with 5000 books initially. Currently, the library has accommodated around 23124 books for student learning. There are a total of 83 international journals available with 115 national journals and 25 magazines. The library is well advanced with a barcode scanning system which makes them feasible for distribution purposes.
Sports facility: In order to make the students well develop not only mentally but physically the college provides a well-equipped sports ground. The college focuses on various national and international competitions.
Entrepreneurship Development Cell: The motive for the entrepreneurship development cell is to make world-class business leaders. It helps students to mold their ideas into innovative business leading industries. The main purpose of this cell is to create more employment in various sectors.
