About SFR College for Women

Standard Fireworks Rajaratnam College for Women was founded in 1968. The college offers regular and self-financed courses like BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA, B.Sc at the undergraduate level and MA, M.Sc, and M.Com at the postgraduate level. Also, it offers various Diploma, PG Diploma, and Certificate courses.

SFR College for Women Course

The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs (both regular and self-financed) across Arts, Commerce, and Science streams in various specializations. SFR College also offers various PG Diploma and certification courses in various specializations. Admission both the UG and PG program is conducted online by the college itself.

SFR College Admissions

The admission to the college is based on merit and admission form can be filled online.

For UG Courses candidates can register ONLINE and apply after the declaration of XIIth Standard Results. For PG Courses candidates can apply with the Mark Statements of Five Semesters.

How to apply?

The candidate has to fill the application form only in online mode at the official college website.
Candidates can go for basic registration by clicking New registration, select course, and enter relevant details. Log-in using the credentials generated.
Upload scanned copy of photograph in JPG/JPEG format of 50KB size and scanned copies of marksheets and certificates of 200 KB.
Fill the required personal and academic details.
Selected candidates will be notified by the college. Selected candidates will have to pay the application fees to lock their seats which are non refundable.
Admission is subjected to verification of Degree by the Director of Govt. Examinations.
The original certificates have to be submitted to the college and will be returned after the completion of the course.

The faculty of the college with a focus on quality imparted training students appointed. They are well qualified and trained with great experience. There are a total of 142 faculties (72 in aided stream and 66 in Self Financing Stream) working out of which 23 are PhD holders. Each department has a Professor and Assistant Professor. Teachers have good knowledge of their respective subjects. They also encourage the students in any way possible and help them when they need it.
