Department of Financial Studies (DFS), is a department of the University of Delhi that was set up in 1987 and is recognized by the CFA University Affiliation Program. USA. The college is located in Moti Bagh/ South Campus of Delhi University and offers a full-time two-year flagship MBA (Financial Management) Program and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program.

DFS Delhi Considers CAT Score for MBA Admission and marks obtained in class X & XII examinations. Female candidates are given some extra weightage. The Final selection is based on CAT Scores, Marks scored in GD and PI, and Marks Scored in Class X and Class XII Examinations; and Weightage to female candidates. Admission to the Doctoral PhD program is based on Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) scores with Research Proposal and PI. • DFS Application forms are available on the official website.
• After CAT Examination results along with other aspects, candidates are shortlisted for the final selection procedure including GD and PI rounds.
• The shortlisting is done on the basis of CAT percentile and marks obtained in Class X and XII. To receive some extra-weightage candidates must have the following degrees: B. Com. (Hons.), B.A. /B.Sc. (Hons.) (Economics); B. A. (Hons.) (Business Economics); BBS/BMS and BFIA/BBA(FIA).

Delhi University & All India Post –Graduate Scholarship: offered scholarship amount INR 400/- each month to 20 PG students enrolled for Management studies at FMS Delhi.

His Holiness The Pope Scholarship: Sanctioned scholarship amount INR 150 each month to poor and needy students for 1st year of study.

DFS provides scholarships offered by the state government as well as the scholarships offered by DU. Meritorious students are also eligible for a cost cut in their tuition fee. MBA (FM) students of DFS are entitled to scholarships for the CFA Program.
