Admission into the BAMS course is based on the candidate’s performance in the NEET examination.
Whereas admission to its PG and Doctorate courses are based on the candidate’s performance in the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET).

How to apply?

The admission process for the courses can be done online as well as offline. To apply online, candidates have to download the application form. The candidates have to fill in their complete information correctly and send it to the official address mentioned on the website.
The students need to pay application and registration fees of INR. 1000/- through DD or cheque to ‘Principal, Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College’
For offline applications, candidates can obtain the form by visiting the college campus.
For applying to more than one course, candidates have to fill a separate application form.
Before applying for the course, the aspirants can visit the institute to check the facilities and course structure offered by the college. The students can take the course if they are completely satisfied with the facilities.
Once the student pays the admission fees and decides to discontinue the course, it cannot be refunded by the institution.

Practical halls: The college is committed to providing maximum practical exposure in the concerned subjects to the students. The institution is equipped with a sophisticated dissection theatre, Physiology Laboratory, Pathology Laboratory. The college offers a dedicated practical hall for Dravyaguna, Rasa Shastra, and Bhaishajya Kalpana.
Library: The college library has more than 12,000 books on Ayurveda and allied subjects including periodicals and journals are made available. In addition to this, the library is equipped with Audiovisual aids, a photocopying facility, and computer services with the internet are available within the library for student’s convenience.
Hostel: The college has hostels for boys and girls. All the hostels are well maintained and supervised by the wardens. The institute has strict guidelines against ragging inside the campus. Any form of ragging is strictly prohibited in the hostel and legal action would be taken against such students who indulge in such activities.

Ans. Before deciding to take up the students can visit the college to check the facilities available here. Once the student joins the course, the admission fees or hostel fees are not refundable. In case the student decides to quit the course, he would be liable to pay the full amount for the whole course.
