About Awadhesh Pratap Singh University - [APSU]
APS University was established on 20th July 1968 and the university got approved by the UGC in the year February 1972. It has a membership of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and All Commonwealth Association of Universities (ACAU). The University is located on a 246.20 acres plot of land in the north of Rewa City, at a distance of about 5 kms, with its campus lying on either side of Rewa-Sirmour Road. There are 65 colleges affiliated with the university i.e. govt. colleges, private colleges.
The university offers courses in the field of Humanities, Management, Science, Law, Computers, etc. there are different blocks for different streams of courses. APS offers undergraduate, post graduate courses and doctorate courses. APS University offer undergraduate courses i.e. BBA, B.Ed., BCA, B.Sc (Hon.), B.Ed, and B.LLB. PG courses i.e. M.Sc., MCA, MA, M.Com, M.Ed., M.TecH , LLM , MSW, Ph.D., M.Phil

APSU Admission
APS university offer various courses in different streams, admission are completely based on Merit List from the qualifying exam. For all the courses, students are required to apply online for the admission procedure.
How to Apply?

- Students can apply for their selection of course
- Students are required to pay the application fees through Debit/ Credit or net banking method.
- After the intake of admissions forms, college will release the cut off list based on the qualifying exam for all the courses.
- Students will be called out for the basic counseling session for the final selection of admission.
APSU Placement
College provides placement facility for the students. Various companies visit the campus but it depends on the students, who can grab this opportunity. College also guide students for the internship programs and provide internship opportunity to the students.

- Scholarship is given to SC/ST category of students as per the guidance of Govt. of MP.
- Those students who are extremely good in their fields, also gets the opportunity of Scholarship in the first year of their course.

APS University provides various facilities:
Library: The University has library facility for all the students, in which students can find every type of books related to their courses.
Laborites: The University has departmental labs for different types of fields.
Sports: The University has sports facilities for its Students; apart from the studies students can enjoy sports facilities.
It also has a small meteorological observatory and plans are for a seismological observatory.
Classroom facility, Laboratories, sports facilities for the students to enjoy their time also the college has good alumni connections.
The residents get all the facilities and amenities of modern life, such as, canteen, facilities for Xerox, STD and a small shopping center.
The campus also has a large Gymnasium hall, Yoga hall and a big stadium as well as a Lord Shiva temple situated in between a modest park (greenery).
