CEC Admission
The admission process for the courses is offline. Canara Engineering College offers UG and PG courses.
For the selection in BE, it is based upon the score of JEE main or KCET, apegplicants for the same must have passed the 10+2 higher secondary education with a minimum score of 45% marks for the general category and 50% for the SC, ST and OBC classes.
The selection for M.Tech is based on the score of GATE or PGCET with 50% marks in total subjects every year for the general category and 45% for SC, ST, and OBC classes.

CEC Scholarships
CHSA - The cleaning and hygiene suppliers associations (CHSA)scheme is for the children of employees of CHSA. The judging criteria for the scheme are based on the need, endeavor, and overall personality. Winning applicants are helped with Rs 1500 per annum for 3 years. CEC, under this scheme, has given scholarships to 216 students.
RECOGNITION FOR ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE: Based on the academic performance and the needs of students, CEC has given scholarships to 212 students.
