About Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya

DAVV is one of the prime Central Universities in India. The university houses 30 teaching departments and has more than 264 affiliated colleges. DAVV offers admission to more than 2.6 lakh students in over 200 courses at the UG, PG, and Doctorate level every year. DAVV is among the first few universities in the country to introduce innovative and integrated programs in the area of science, engineering, technology, management, law and media. Admission to most of the UG and PG courses is based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA. DAVV Admission

The admissions to some of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA. The institute also accepts other national level entrance exams such as GATE, GPAT etc. Below mentioned are the details:

Candidates seeking admissions in UG or integrated courses like BBA, BCA, BPES, etc must have secured at least 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent in relevant streams and subjects from a recognized board. Admission will be based on the CUET scores followed by counselling.
Candidates seeking admission in postgraduate courses like MBA, M.Com, M.Sc/ MA, and others must have qualified a bachelor's degree in a relevant stream with over 55% marks from a recognized institution.
Admission seekers in MA/ M.Sc, MBA/ MSW must qualify a written test and a legitimate score obtained in entrance exams.
Also, candidates must be eligible with a relevant academic master's degree with 55% marks to pursue the M.phil and Ph.D. research level programs. Selection is done through the counseling of entrance examination DET, which is conducted by the University.

How to apply for DAVV?

The application process in DAVV is through the online mode and the admission seekers are requested to visit the official website of the University, to apply for the counseling entrance exams DAVV CET.

Applicants need to visit the official website and register for the CET exams.
Fill the necessary information in the application form.
Proceed further by uploading the necessary documents.
Pay the application fee through the prescribed mode of payment, either digital mode of payment, or pay through offline mode by using challan of any SBI branch.
Take a print out of the application form for future reference.
Applicants seeking admissions in Non-CET UG courses can apply online and pay for the application via digital payment.

DAVV Cutoff

Candidates need to qualify the entrance exam to secure admissions in the respective courses. Based on the cutoff marks, the candidate will be admitted to the respective programs. DAVV CET Cutoff is released in the form of opening and closing ranks in the official website of the institution. Candidates who qualify DAVV CET must register for counseling. The registration can be done online and the final selection will be done after the documents are verified. However, DAVV CET exams will be done offline.

DAVV Results

For the admission in the respective courses, DAVV conducts an entrance exam DAVV CET at the beginning of the semester. The DAVV CET results are released on the official website of the institution.

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya University follows the odd-even semester examination pattern for the respective academic programs. The University releases the results of the examination on the website within 25 days of the commencement. Students can visit the website and check their respective results. DAVV Placement

DAVV has a dedicated placement cell that is responsible for all placement-related activities. The cell organises campus placement drives every year. Renowned companies from different sectors participate in the placement drive to recruit students. DAVV Indore has concluded its first phase of 2022 placement drive. More than 1500 students have been placed with an average package of INR 6.16 LPA. DAVV recorded an increase of 185% in the highest CTC as compared to last year. DAVV Scholarships

DAVV offers scholarships to most of the meritorious students which cover the entire tuition fee. Scholarships are mostly offered on a merit basis. Students from the reserved category are offered scholarships that cover the full academic fees as per the Govt rules. The university accepts all the regional, national scholarships, and educational loans. The students who have excelled in the sports field are given sports quota scholarships. The topper from the M.Sc course is awarded Dr. Manohar Chandwani's Scholarship and Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma's Sponsored Gold medal at the convocation ceremony.

DAVV Facilities

DAVV features a total land of 350 acres in the populated area with various infrastructural facilities such as

Central Library, which is equipped with various books, national and international research journals, periodicals, and magazines. There's a collection of 2 lakhs books in the library. The digital library provides access to varied research journals in electronic form.
Information Technology Centre is sited inside the campus with WiFi access, out there for all the University Departments and the faculties.
Separate Hostel, for both the genders with well-furnished rooms along with homely food in the mess and other amenities like WiFi, water purifiers recreation rooms, playgrounds, etc.
Laboratories are located in each department separately on the campus.
Emergency Health Centre, provides health services and consultation to the students and faculties. It's available for 24hours Emergency Services.
The auditorium, Is centrally air-conditioned with well-furnished seating arrangements which can accommodate 1100 audiences at once.
The cafeteria is sited inside the premises of DAVV, where you'll get homely prepared vegetarian foods and other goodies, which are affordable.

Additional facilities like WiFi access over the campus, alumni association meet, post office, ATM/Banks, Spacious Sports playground, Fitness Centre for both boys and girls inside the campus.
