FDDI Rohtak Admission

Fashion Design and Development Institute Rohtak offers admission through valid scores in AIST. Registration is done through online mode.

Application Procedure

Step 1: Visit the official website of the college and go to the ‘Admission’ tab.

Step 2: Register yourself by creating a login account with a valid email id and contact number.

Step 3: After successful registration, fill out the online application form with all the required details.

Step 4: Upload a recent passport size scanned photograph and signature.

Step 5: Pay the application fee of INR 600 (General/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category) and INR 300 (SC/ST/PWD Category)

Note: Candidates are advised to keep the printout of the application form for further reference along with proof of payment.

Selection Criteria

For admission in B.Des valid AIST score followed by Counselling.
Candidates who are allotted a seat will be required to pay an amount of INR 25,000 at the time of counseling/ admission to reserve the seat. This includes INR 10,000 (Non-Refundable) as Registration Fees + INR 15,000 as Advance Fee to be adjusted against the balance fee.
The candidates will be given 10 working days from the date of reserving their seat or before the commencement of the program whichever is earlier to deposit the balance fee.
Meritorious candidates are also provided admission on a merit basis.

Besides ample air-conditioned classrooms, technical workshops equipped with modern state-of-art pieces of machinery, it has conference halls, seminar halls, auditorium, computer labs, Design Studio, CAD-CAM Lab and the library along with fully furnished separate Girls & Boys Hostel. This makes FDDI-Rohtak a most modern and world level campus.

Library: The library subscribes to Indian and foreign journals and magazines. The Institute provides adequate library facilities for the students. The library includes the air-conditioned reading hall and has a calm atmosphere so that the students can concentrate on their work. It also has a wide collection of project reports and case studies; moreover, it houses more than 5000 books and periodicals.
Hostel: Hostel at FDDI-Rohtak offers a spacious, hygienic and secure facility both for boys & girls separately. The rooms are properly ventilated and provided with fans, tube lights and necessary furniture. Each student is provided a cot, a chair, a table, and a cupboard (locker). It has recreation rooms equipped with a color TV set, music system, facilities like RO system, dining halls and indoor games to enhance the physical activities of the students.

Ans. Students can apply for scholarships offered by government agencies as per their processes and eligibility criteria. FDDI does not offer any scholarship of its own. Ques. What is the age limit to apply for admission?

Ans. The age limit to apply for admission in the UG program is 25 years.

Ques. Can I choose the city for giving the entrance exam as per my preference?

Ans. Yes, you can choose the city based on your choice. All the eligible candidates will have to appear for the written entrance examination at the Examination Centres opted by them. The written entrance examination is designed to test the knowledge, skill and aptitude of the candidates for the program opted.

Ques. What are the admission criteria for NRI category candidates?

Ans. 10% of seats are reserved in each program for NRI/ Industry Sponsored candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. The candidates will get interviewed and the selection shall be done on merit basis.

Ques. Does FDDI Rohtak provide an accommodation facility?

Ans. Yes, FDDI Rohtak provides accommodation facilities. The institute has a separate hostel for both boys and girls. The hostel has all the basic facilities such as mess, well-furnished rooms and many more. There are a total of 220 rooms for boys and 190 rooms for girls enrolled in the institute.
