Government Science College Facility

Hostels: The college offers one hostel for the students coming from places far away from Bangalore. The hostel fees are very nominal.
Library: The Library has 76122 number of books, 45 National and International journals along with 30 computers for browsing the internet, e-learning packages, and full-text e-resources for the students.
Sports: Indoor and outdoor sports facilities are made available for most of the games. The students of the college have represented the college at the university, state, and national level events. A well-equipped 12 station gymnasium is also established.
The college conducts an Annual Sports meet during the even semester of every academic year to encourage and identify students who excel in sports.
Interclass sports events namely, Chess, Kabaddi, Cricket, Throwball, Volleyball, and Badminton are held every year.
Club: To make students’ life in the campus experiential and filled with fun, GSC has various clubs. These club activities help students to pursue their interests and develop their potential and make learning a joyous process. Clubs provide students an enjoyable break from the rigors of academics and make learning experiential and fun.
Health Centre: The health center offers 24*7 medical facilities to students as well and teachers.
Laboratories: There are 23 well-equipped laboratories along with anti- preparation rooms. The PG laboratories are suitably equipped and also conducive for research activities.
Auditorium: The institution has two auditoriums for conducting seminars, workshops, symposia, and conferences. The main auditorium has a seating capacity of 800 and the common seminar hall has a seating capacity of 300. The audiovisual room with LCD projector, surround audio, EDUSAT receiver and TV facilities, is used for educational audiovisual shows.
Other facilities include NCC, NSS, Internet Facility, Canteen, Transport, parking.

Students from the disadvantaged communities: Students from SC/ST and other backward classes are allotted seats as per the roster system of the state policy.
