About Green Hills Engineering College

Green Hills Engineering College (GHEC), Solan is managed by a trust constituting of members who are education oriented. Members of the GHEC Society are always willing to propagate knowledge through discipline and spread the light of education.

The college has demonstrated perennial evidence of quality and merit since its inception. Green Hills College of Engineering has achieved a respectable position in all government funded and private colleges in the Solan district.

At Green Hills Engineering College, major emphasis is laid on developing a student – mentally, on a firm ground of knowledge, self-discipline, creativity as well as physically; through sports and various other activities. Here, we focus on motivating our students to innovate and also prepare them for rigors of social, professional and their personal lives.

Scholarships: Scholarships are provided to meritorious students based on results of H.P. Technical University. Rs. 3000 for 1^st position and Rs. 2000 for 2^nd position in 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd year.
Awards: College chairman has been awarded ‘Edupreneurer Award 2013’. Also, CSR-GHRDC ranked GHEC as 2^nd Top Emerging College in India, 2010. College received the Best Engineering College Award and is ranked 1^st among private colleges spread all over Himachal Pradesh. International Accreditation Organization (United States of America) has granted GHEC the Candidacy Status.
