Hansraj Jivandas College of Education, Mumbai was established in 1969 under the aegis of Gujarat Research Society (GRS). It is recognized by the NCTE and permanently affiliated to University of Mumbai. It is accredited with B++ Grade by NAAC. GRS is located amidst the residential area in the suburb of Mumbai. The College comprises of an ICSE School and a Junior College, a Medical Centre, a Guidance and Counselling unit, a Centre for Life Long Learning and Hansraj Jivandas College of Education. It is one of the Pioneer Educational Institutions not just in Mumbai but Maharashtra State.
