About Indian Institute of Information Technology -[IIIT]

IIIT Raichur is one of the new IIITs created in 2019 by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. IIIT Raichur currently offers a B.Tech program. IIIT Raichur began operations in the academic year 2020-21 from its temporary campus at Government Engineering College (GEC), Raichur. The permanent campus of IIIT Raichur is currently under construction and will be operational in a few years.

With the academic year 2020-21, IIIT Raichur began operations from its temporary campus at Government Engineering College (GEC), Raichur. GEC, Raichur, has made the required adjustments to accommodate IIIT Raichur. In addition, the facilities of GEC Raichur will be extended to IIIT Raichur. Visvesvaraya Fellowships: Ph.D. students of the CSE department can also apply for the Visvesvaraya Fellowship which pays INR 38750 per month for the first two years of the program and INR 43750 per month.
Industry fellowships: Companies such as Intel, Infosys, TCS, and Google often provide fellowships for Regular PhD students. These fellowship amounts vary but usually provide similar monthly stipends as MoE fellowships.
