Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Open University, shortly referred to as PSSOU, was established in 2005, by the Chhattisgarh government. It has its regional centers located in Bilaspur, Jagdalpur, Korba. Raipur, Ambikapur, Durg, and Jashpur. The college offers 20 different courses for UG and PG. Admissions are merit-based for most courses, and in certain cases, dependent on scores in the respective entrance examination.

PSSOU Admission

The steps to apply are as follows:

Visit the official website of PSSOU.
On the official website, click on the Online Admission link.
Fill in the required details and upload the documents.
Pay the application fee of INR 100 through online payment methods or through bank challan.
Once the applicant has cleared the fee, they will get a confirmation via SMS on the mobile number given by them. The Application Form and Fee will be checked at the Exam Centre for verification purposes.

PSSOU Scholarship

Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Open University has a state-sponsored scholarship for SC/ ST. Candidates need to fill in the form by visiting http://mpsc.mp.nic.in/cgpms/ and apply for the same. Candidates applying to ST or Minority category will be awarded scholarships as per the Government of India’s schemes and plans.

PSSOU Facilities

Library: The institute library has a strong collection of Books, Journals, Legal and General Magazines, Commission Reports, Encyclopaedias, Dictionaries, and General Books. It is built in a large area with ample space for storage of books and reading area. It has an accessible access system to facilitate readers to have secure access to the library resources.
Guest Room/ Waiting Room: The College has a guest house and waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student or family members.
Wi-Fi: The campus has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
