Sinhgad Institute of Management was established in 1994. The institute is famous for its postgraduate programs in MBA and MCA. The MBA specialisation includes Marketing Management (MKT), Financial Management (FIN), Human Resources Management (HRM), Operations & Supply Chain Management (OSCM) and Business Analytics (BA). The total fee for MBA (MH-OPEN) and MCA (MH-OPEN) costs INR 1,49,930 and INR 97,430 respectively. 

To take admission in MBA, candidates must have a minimum three-year Bachelor's Degree from a UGC or AIU-recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks and a valid score in MAH-MBA, CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT, or GMAT. For MCA, candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in any Bachelor's degree with Mathematics or Statistics as a subject in 10+2 or graduation level. Entrance Exam Admission for MCA is conducted through MAH-MCA-CET by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. The institute  also offers extensive accommodation for boys with 11 blocks, housing up to 5,800 students and 6 blocks for girls accommodating 3,200 students. Hostel admission is granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
