Sri Devaraj URS Medical College Admissions
Admissions to the MBBS program and the MD/ MS programs are made on the basis of NEET UG and PG respectively. Post the examination, the online counseling process will be followed to get admission to Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College. Allotment of Seats
The counseling process NEET-PG is currently in progress, while the NEET-UG registration for counseling will begin in August. Both processes are conducted by MCI. The candidates have to fill in their preferred choices of college while registering. If the candidate is allotted SDUU college, the candidate must report to the college for verification of documents on the intimated date and time. However, this verification process can also be done online.
Sri Devaraj URS Medical College Facilities
Some of the facilities of the college include:
- Hostel: there are separate Men’s and Women’s hostels, divided into Under Graduate Hostel, AHS Hostel, Post Graduate Hostel, and the Resident Hostel. The hostel facilities include RO-UV Plant for drinking & cooking purposes, Reading rooms, Recreation hall with TV facility, Gym, Newspaper facility, Wi-Fi facility, and a Visitors lounge.
- Library: The library is spread over 3642 sq. mtrs and can accommodate 700 users at a time. It has state-of-the-art infrastructure as well as Wi-Fi facilities to browse and access the resources. It has a total of 11910989 textbooks, 17398006 reference books, 59547528 journals, and 14790763 e-journals.
- Sports and Fitness Centre: The college has established a Volleyball court, a Basketball court, Two Tennis courts & a Throwball court with permanent floodlights in addition to the outdoor arena viz. Football/Athletic ground. It also has an indoor sports complex with a Badminton Court, Two Table Tennis Tables, and Multi Gym facilities.
- Other facilities include ATM and Bank, Food Court, Information Technology Centre, Student Counselling Services, and a proximate Campus Store.
Conclusion
This Deemed to be University might not be one of the top-ranking medical colleges of India, but is still no less than an excellent institution to pursue medical studies. The cut-off ranks of the college are not very high, and the facilities provided seem to match up to the fee structure. All in all, this college seems to be an excellent choice.

Ans. If the candidate is satisfied with the allotted college in the form and does not want to be considered for any more rounds of counseling can use the Freeze option. This is also known as the Lock option. On the other hand, if the candidate is satisfied but also wants to be considered for other colleges and rounds, he can use the Float option. Lastly, if the student is not satisfied with allotted college, and does not want to appear for the subsequent rounds, he can use the withdraw option.
