SSG Pareek PG College Achievements

The Institute enjoys the status of a Heritage College which was declared by UGC in 2001.
It has received a grant of 7 lakh rupees along with aids for the development of the Institute.
The UGC has also sanctioned an aid of 68.36 lakh rupees under the 11th five-year plan and will be giving another aid of 50 lakh rupees to the college on the completion of its Hundred Years.

The admission is done based on merit.

How to Apply?

Candidates can either visit the campus and fill the Admission form which they will get along with the prospectus by paying the admission fees or the online Admission form can be filled.
In the Online Application form, after registration, the candidate will have to upload photos of the relevant documents.
After uploading the documents, the candidates may submit the required fee of that year for that subject and take a printout of receipt for future purpose.

SSG Pareek PG College Scholarship

The Institute has a solid scholarship plan for the students pursuing education from there.

The Institute provides post-matric scholarships for students belonging to students based on their merit. INR1000, INR 3000, INR 5000 is off for students having scored 60-70%, >70-80% and >80-90% respectively. 50% and 100% off for students scoring above 90-95% and above 95% respectively.

20% and 10% is off for girl candidates pursuing UG and PG respectively.

Along with these, the Institute provides scholarships for socially backward categories, Physically weaker section, scholarships for low-income groups, merit cum means scholarship, Minority Department scholarship and state and National Level Scholarships.

SSG Pareek PG College Placement

There is a training and placement cell responsible for the placements of students. Every Year around 50% of students get placed in renowned organisations like Tata Motors, Metlife Insurance, Deloitte, Gimar Technologies, ICICI Bank, ICICI Prudential, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys. The salary offer ranges between INR 10,000 to INR 15,000 per month and in some cases, it is even INR 20,000.

The Institute provides a library, Counselling Corner, Laboratories and NCC, NSS and sports facilities for the students.

Classrooms: The classrooms are well- equipped and student-friendly. They are made to aid the students in their studies. It comprises good seating arrangements for admitted students.
Laboratories: The laboratories contain all the machines and equipment necessary for practicals. The Institute has Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany and a lab for Geography so that the students can learn the practical aspects of their subjects.
Extra-Curricular: The Institute also encourages all forms of arts and music. It has an Art Studio as well as a music room for the students to hone their talents.
Counselling Corner: The Institute offers a counselling corner to shape the students for personality development and further placement season.
Computer Labs: The Institute has computer labs for the students. The computers are equipped with the latest technology and software and come with the relevant programs required by the students.
Library: The library is well equipped with an open rack policy for the students. The library has a collection of textbooks, magazines, newspapers and other reference books that are latest and give the information related to courses as well as the required exams and their preparation. The institute also offers Reading rooms to the students and each student can issue two books at one time.
Medical: The Institute provides medical facility and healthcare insurance to the students.
Sports: Students are encouraged to take part in outdoor and indoor sports activities on the campus. The required facility both for indoor and outdoor games has been made available for the students. The games include Cricket, Volleyball, football, Carrom, Chess as well as weight- lifting.
NCC and NSS: The institute also offers the student to participate in NCC and NSS activities.

Ans. With Highly qualified faculty at the campus, the S.S.G. Pareek P.G. The Institute has a total of 67 full-time faculty at present with 15 PhD holders, and 66 post-graduates in different fields ranging from M. Tech, M. Sc, M. Com, MBA, MCA, M.E., and M.A.

Ques. Can I get lateral admission at SSG Pareek PG College?

Ans. Yes, lateral admission is possible, but general seats are filled through qualifying exams. Also, the candidate must have completed their 10+2 with the required subjects and must either attain 50% marks in the Qualifying exam or 60% in their required subjects.

Ans. Yes, several scholarships are provided by the college. The College provides merit scholarships for the students while the State Government ensures that scholarships are available for OBC/ SC/ ST/ Minority/ PWD students.
