Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) is a government-open university. UPRTOU is recognised by the Distance Education Council (DEC), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), AICTE and UGC’s Distance Education Bureau. UPRTOU Admissions

The admission process for UPRTOU is online. Applicants who wish to apply for UG, PG, PhD admissions must submit an online application form on the official website. The minimum eligibility for undergraduate courses is class 12 with not less than 50% marks. Applicants with a graduate degree in relevant discipline are eligible to apply for masters’ courses.

Admission to B.Ed and B.Ed. (SE) programs are made through University Entrance Exam while for the rest of the programs, admission is made on the basis of merit. Library: Students are provided with a well equipped library which contains more than 40,000 books along with many DVDs/CD, articles, E-books as well as journals. Daily newspaper service is also provided by the library.
