VV College of Engineering Admission
The institution takes students based on TNEA, TANCET, and GATE. There is no entrance exam for the admission of B.E whereas for M.E, students must have a valid score in GATE or TANCET scores. Students with GATE scores will be given more preference.

VV College of Engineering Scholarships
The college provides ASV SUBBIAH MERIT scholarships worth 1 crore INR. Scholarship is availed for the students according to their merits scored in the entrance exam. Students who have cut-offs above 190 are given free tuition fees for the first year. And those with cut-offs above 180 and 170 have to pay INR 15,000 and INR 30,000 as their tuition fee.
There is a specific canto for sports quota students. Students who have excelled at the national level can avail for free tuition fees, divisional level students have to pay INR 15,000 and district level students have to pay INR 30,000 as their fees.
Candidates with merit marks and sports, quota can avail for the scholarships and get some excuse in their tuition fees. The backward class students can further avail for Educational loan from NBCFDC at a cheaper interest. There are other government scholarships as per various categories and eligibility for the students.

- Transport Facility: The College offers an ultra-modern transport facility at the radial distance of 75km. The buses run to Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Kanyakumari district for a more comfortable ride for the students reaching college.
- Lab: The College provides all modern equipment and instruments. They also provide well qualified technical instructors to guide the students. The equipment is occasionally calibrated to avoid more errors.
