Veer Wajekar Arts Science & Commerce College was established in the year 1989. It is managed by the Rayat Shikshan Sanstha’s whose founder was Lt. Padmabhushan Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil in the year 1919. It offers with various under graduate & post graduate programs in the field of commerce, science and arts to the students. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is accredited with grade “B” by NAAC. The College has state of art infrastructure and is provided with essential facilities for the faculty and students of the college. The faculty of the college is qualified and experienced in their respective field.

The college library is also interlinked with TISS Library Deonar (Mumbai) & Jawaharlal Nehru Library of Mumbai University. It is in an area of about 75 Sq. Mt.
Scholarship	College provides with several scholarships and financial aids to the students. It provides with scholarships to economically week section, Open merit and merit scholarship by the Govt., govt. also provides scholarships to the SC/ST/OBC students.
Anti – Ragging	Ragging is strictly prohibited and is a criminal offence. If any form of such activity is reported it is dealt strictly and is punishable.
