About Vikrama Simhapuri University - [VSU]

Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) is a public state university that offers PG, Integrated M.Sc and Ph.D. courses in various specializations under its three constituent colleges. Some of the courses are MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, MSW, Integrated M.Sc, MBA, BFA and Diploma, and lastly, Ph.D. courses.

For admission in the PG programs, students have to appear in the VSU PGCET entrance test. Final selection will be done only after the counselling process. Students are given admission in the integrated programs based on marks scored in the previous examination. For admission in the PhD program, students have to qualify in the APRCET followed by an interview. Application form can be filled online followed by submission at the university office in person or through post.

VSU has a dedicated placement cell which aims to provide students with jobs in top multinational companies. The university provides students with placement assistance through employment and entrepreneurship counseling. VSU has designed a very economical fee structure for the student where the regular course students are given some government aid (scholarship).

MBA	Duration - 2 years. Fees - Rs 20,000 Eligibility - Candidates must have a BBA degree from a college/university recognised by the VSU.	At least 40% marks in VSU PGCET + Counselling.
MA	Duration - 2 Years Fees - Rs 7,870 (1st year) Eligibility - Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject from a college/ university recognised by the VSU.	At least 40% marks in VSU PGCET + Counselling.
MSW	Duration - 2 Years Fees - Rs 7,870 (1st year) Eligibility - Candidates must have a BSW degree from a college/ university recognised by the VSU.	At least 40% marks in VSU PGCET + Counselling.
M.Ed	Duration - 2 Years Fees - Rs 14,045 (1st year) Eligibility - Candidates must have a B.Ed degree with 50% marks and 45% marks in UG or PG degree.	At least 40% marks in VSU PGCET + Counselling.
M.Com	Duration - 2 Years Fees - Rs 9,395 (1st year) Eligibility - Candidates must have a B.Com degree from a college/ university recognised by the VSU.	At least 40% marks in VSU PGCET + Counselling.
M.P.Ed	Duration - 2 Years Fees - Rs 14,045 (1st year) Eligibility - Candidates must have a BPE or B.P.Ed degree from a college/ university recognised by the VSU.	At least 40% marks in VSU PGCET + Counselling.
Integrated B.Sc + M.Sc	Duration - 5 Years Fees - Rs 20,935/ year Eligibility - Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a college recognised by VSU with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.	Merit Basis.
Integrated BBA + MBA	Duration - 5 Years Fees - Rs 20,935/ year Eligibility - Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a college recognised by VSU.	Merit Basis.
Integrated BFA	Duration - 5 Years Fees – Rs 20,935/ year Eligibility - Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a college recognised by VSU.	Merit Basis.
Ph.D	Duration - 3 Years Fees - Rs 14,040 (1st year) Eligibility - Candidates must have a Master's degree in the concerned discipline from a college/ university recognised by the VSU with minimum 55% marks.	APR CET Score + Interview.
M.Phil	Duration - 2 Years Fees - N/A Eligibility - Candidates must have a Master's degree in the concerned discipline from a college/ university recognised by the VSU with minimum 55% marks.	APR CET Score + Interview.
