CSIR-IMMT Bhubaneswar Ph.D. Courses and Admission 2023

The college invites all eligible candidates to apply for its Ph.D. programs in Science and Engineering under Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), New Delhi in Engineering Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences, in the ensuing session.

Eligibility Criteria:

Ph.D. (Engineering) Eligibility-

M.Tech from a recognized university in Metallurgical/ Chemical/ Mineral/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering with the good academic record having valid CSIR-SRF or equivalent fellowship or B.Tech in Metallurgical/ Chemical/ Mineral/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering with the good academic record as well as qualifying GATE score (considered through GATE-JRFship or CSIR)

Ph.D. (Science) Eligibility-

M.Sc. having a valid National level fellowship (JRF/SRF of various funding agencies e.g. CSIR, UGC, DST, DBT, etc.) INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowships.

Selection Procedure-

Selection for admission to the Ph.D. program shall be on the basis of college-based written test and/or interview of shortlisted candidates at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar. Candidates are advised to visit the AcSIR website for dates of written test and interview.
