About Government Engineering College - [GEC]

Government Engineering College, Gopalganj is an engineering college set by the Government of Bihar in the beautiful city of Gopalganj. The college was established under the Department of Science and Technology in the year 2019. This college is a newly settled and currently growing technical institution. The college is affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE). The college started its first academic session in 2019 from the Campus of Braj Kishor Narayan Singh Government Polytechnic, Gopalganj (BKNSGP), Gopalganj. The prime aim of this Institution is to enhance students with sound knowledge, acumen, training, and experience both at the academic level of Engineering and in a highly competitive global market. GEC, Gopalganj encourages and motivates its students to dedicatedly strive for the best and achieve excellence by way of inclusiveness, integrity, innovation and creativity.

GEC Gopalganj Admissions

The Admissions in the college for four years Bachelor of Technology courses are done through Undergraduate Engineering Admission Counselling (UGEAC) conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) Board. To apply for UGEAC, applying in JEE Main of that admission year is necessary along with other eligibility criteria i.e. passed 10+2 or any other examination with relevant subjects (PCM) and achieved at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
