About PDA College of Engineering

Poojya Doddappa Appa College of Engineering, Gulbarga was founded in the year 1958 by the Hyderabad Karnataka Education society. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by AICTE. It offers 11 Bachelor, 10 Master and 7 Research Programmes in the various specialties of Engineering

The college’s annual intake of UG is 660 and PG is 157.
The College has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation since 2009
It is the first College in Karnataka State to start the Electronics and Communication Engineering branch way back in the year 1967, to join NIT Surathkal and IISc, Bangalore
The campus is sprawling over an area of 70 acres
There are around 175 faculty members
