Rama Devi Women's University was established in 1964 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It is the first Women’s college to be established in the state of Orissa. Rama Devi Women's University Admission
Admissions to all UG courses is merit based on the basis of marks scored in qualifying degree. For admission into PG courses, candidates have to appear for the Entrance examination conducted by the college. Only Female applicants are eligible to apply. During Admission, preference will be given to students belonging from the state of Orissa.

Rama Devi Women's University provides a number of facilities to its students. Some of them are listed below:
Hostel:
The University has 3 well maintained Hostels for the students- 1 for PG students and 2 for UG students. They are managed by the respective Wardens and provide excellent security. The Mess is also known to provide delicious and healthy meals to the occupants.
Library:
There is a well stocked library available for the use of the students as well as for the faculty members of this college. There is also a reading room for scholars. Students are also encouraged to use the computer facilities provided to access the various E-Books, Online Publications, and E-Journals available.
Auditoriums:
The college is also equipped with a state of the art auditorium facility which is used to conduct various programmes and functions. The Auditorium has the capacity of over 600 students, and has access to Wifi facility.
Gym:
The students are encouraged to partake of the Gym facility. A small fee is charged for its use..
ATM:
The University campus is also equipped with a SBI ATM which can be used by Students and Faculty members.
