Admissions to The Madras Sanskrit College, Chennai are entrance based which is conducted in both English and Sanskrit mediums.The candidates who have passed a degree and diploma course in Sanskrit are eligible to apply for MA in Sanskrit. Basic eligibility is that the candidates should have passed any of the SSLC/ OSLC/ Veda Adhyayanam/ Agama course/ 10+2 examinations or any degree with Sanskrit. Applications are issued from April every year and the last date for the receipt of application is 31st July of every year.
