GP Vijayawada Admission
Admissions for Diploma Courses in the college is through a state-level exam AP POLYCET and based on the rank obtained in the same exam.
Candidates can choose from the 6 Diploma courses on the basis of interest and rank obtained in the exam. The counselling procedure of AP POLYCET is as follows: -
Application Process
- Visit the board website for registering for the entrance and register in the college site separately as needed.
- Crack the exam to qualify to the counselling.
- Then, Certificates of the Candidate are verified in Help Line Centres (HLC) as deemed by the board.
- Then, the choice Filling takes place, wherein the candidates have to choose their preferred college as “Government Polytechnic Vijayawada” with the course.
- Candidates have to lock the choice filling once they have done.
- The seat is allotment starts, which is primarily done based on choices filled and the meritorious rank secured in AP POLYCET.
- Each candidate has to download to have a print out of the same.
- Finally, the candidates need to report at the allotted college within the data printed on the allotment letter with the letter to confirm the admission by paying the fees.

The technical institution has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell which helps in the training/ internship and placement-related activities for the students.
