About Prabhat Kumar College

Established in 1926, Prabhat Kumar College is one of the oldest colleges in India. It has been recently re-accredited in 2014 by Nationals Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) of University Grants Commission (UGC). This college is located in Midnapore, West Bengal.

In the early stages, the college used to offer courses which were only related to arts, but over the years it has developed and now it has over 7000 students studying in various fields such as Arts, Science and Commerce. Some of the popular courses are B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, M.A, M.Sc, etc.

Prabhat Kumar College Admissions 2024

The admission procedure is as per the guidelines of the college/university. The students must clear the entrance exam & have to be in the merit list in order to make their admission smoothly.

How to Apply?

The candidate has to visit the official website of the college & has to download the application form.
The candidate has to fill up the form with the correct information and required documents.
At the time of submission of application form, the candidate has to pay the required amount to the college as application fee, without which, the application will not be considered.

To get admission into any UGC program offered by the college, the candidate must have cleared 10+2 from recognized board, & to get admission into any PG program, the candidate must have Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks.

The college has a separate body which looks after the placements of the students in reputed companies with favorable working conditions for their students. The faculties conduct sessions, tests every possible thing to train their students & help them to become a professional. The career counseling & placement cell is always active & they keep on motivating their students. There is no direct campus placements, but if any student wants to, then the concerned authorities help that student till he/she gets placed.

Prabhat Kumar College Scholarships

The college provides financial assistance to the students who are financially weak & cannot afford high fees but are talented. Usually, this scholarship is availed by the students who come under BPL section. It doesn’t mean that students who don’t come under that section of the society cannot get the scholarship. The scholarship is normally generated by the tuition fees collected by the college.

To avail the scholarship, you have to fill up the scholarship form along with the required documents. After verifying your document, if the college finds you eligible for the scholarship, you’ll get the scholarship.
