Ans. Yes, admissions to the B.Ed program at Uttarakhand Open University are solely determined by the entrance exam scores. The university selects qualified applicants for B.Ed. Courses through an admission exam. Objective-style questions about general knowledge and teaching aptitude are part of the entrance exam. The shortlisted candidates are assigned seats based on their rank and scores in the counseling procedure after the entry qualifiers are called for the final round.

Ans. Uttarakhand Open University is a public university in Uttarakhand. B.A. admission is available in various specializations, the most popular of which are General, Geography, Mathematics, and Yoga Sciences. B.Sc. is also available in two specializations, one in general and one in an optional subject of choice. Furthermore, the University provides a B.Ed in three specializations: general and special education (learning disability). 

Ans. Yes, the study centre can be changed in case the present one ceases to function on its own or is closed down by University (free of cost). In case the candidate wishes to change the Study Centre due to job transfer, he can do so by producing Challan of Rs.500/- along with the admission form and application of transfer. Also, if a female gets married and wishes to change her study centre, she can do so by submitting her marriage certificate along with the application form for change of centre, admission form and fees of Rs.500/-.

Ans. If a candidate wishes to change his study centre, the fees is Rs. 500/-

If the candidate wishes to change his programme, the fees is Rs. 1500/-

If the candidate wishes to change his subject, he must pay a fee of Rs. 300/-

Ans. The candidate can change his/ her optional subject by depositing Rs. 300/- as additional fee. He can do so within 30 days of receiving the SLM. He can also get the medium changed with the same amount.

Ans. Yes, the University offers D.Voc in Digital Marketing & Management, Soft Skill & E-Office Management and Technology Enabled Education for a minimum duration of 1 year and maximum duration of 3 years. Apart from these certificate courses are also available for Vocational Studies.

Ans. The minimum duration is 3 years and maximum duration is 6 years for the PhD courses in all specializations at Uttarakhand Open University.
