D. R. Mane Mahavidyalaya

D. R. Mane Mahavidyalaya was established in 1984 by The Kagal Education Society. It is affiliated to Shivaji Universit, Kolhapur. We primarily offer formal education through traditional disciplines of Arts & Commerce at senior level and Arts, Commerce & Science through our junior wing and Vocational Courses through MCVC wing, along with a few career oriented and professional courses run on self financed basis for students. The College is accredited by NAAC with B Grade.

Extracurricular Activities

• National Cadet Corps (NCC): The basic objective of NCC is developing leadership, courage, sportsmanship, discipline etc. amongst the cadets.  The college NCC units enroll 50 students
• National Services Scheme(NSS): The objective of NSS giving them a sense of the existent conditions of the society and the circumstances around them, which may help for their all round personality development
• Student Welfare Fund: The needy students are helped by the student- aid fund and sometimes by the college staff and the institution
• Vivek Vahini: This unit in the college which aims at the eradication of superstition and promotion of scientific approach works in consistent collaboration with the Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti

Curricular Activities

• Geography Association: The major objectives of this association is to develop the awareness about the pollution and understand importance of environment
• Economics Association: The main purpose of this association to develop interest among the students in the context of the subject by organizing group discussion, seminar, quiz, easy competition
• English Literacy Association: This association works for the overall personality development of the students
• History Literacy Association: This association provides up-to-date knowledge of the subject to students and  encourage the students to conduct historical research and to develop interest in and aptitude for history
